The Matter Brothers Story

Stewart Matter Sr., began his career in 1955 as a sales representative for Simmons Mattress Company. After several years of traveling various states, he decided to open a furniture showroom in his hometown of Ft. Wayne, Indiana in order to be home every night with his family. After 20 years of success, he decided to move to Florida. Over the years, his sons, Stewart II, David, Tom, John, and Gary joined him and have grown the business to one of the most successful furniture companies in the country.
